...the movie, "Notting Hill".
There. I said it. You can all snicker behind my back. Go ahead. Just come back when you are done.
First off, Norbert was 18 months old before Myfanwe and I had a proper postpartum date. And when we did, it was dinner and a movie. And the movie was Notting Hill.
I love the garden bench. "For June who loved this garden from Joseph who always sat beside her." And I loved the quirky friends and family. And I loved that, like me, William fell madly in love with Anna at first site.
And, possibly its most profound line: "Happiness wouldn't be happiness without a violin-playing goat." I mean, that is so deep.
Myfanwe and I have discussed this, and when I die, instead of a tombstone, I'd like a little stone bench. Nothing fancy, but big enough that Myfanwe could come and visit, sit a spell, and tell me a little about what's going on in her life.

That line from Notting Hill is one of my favorites. Every time I see a Chagall, I mutter it under my breath. Here's to you and your lovely Myfanwe. And of course, your violin-playing goat.
Love, love, love, Notting Hill so no snickers necessary. Sometimes a romantic comedy (good or bad) is what is needed. I sympathize about the layoffs at your office. I work for a large company that is letting a number of people go this fiscal year. I'm safe for now, but we have been told that the situation could change for us. My fingers are crossed for us all.
Aaaah, how sweet. I love "Notting Hill" too - in fact, it was on TV this weekend and I watched it yet again. Loved it again too!
I agree, I'm on the interwebs since all I have at home is a hairy Welshmen
