Stalked you from Franklin's... You mentioned the Club Peorian and Big Al's, are you originally from Peoria? The Club Peorian is no longer open, it closed a few years ago, or at least it's no longer on SW Adams, perhaps it moved?
It's so rare to find people from Illinois that aren't from Chicago.
Looks like your Ravelry invite will be coming soon. Hope to see you there. It truly is the most wonderful time sucking place to be. :-) "NoImNotFranklin" cracks me up!
Your prayer shawl is absolutely gorgeous! It looks like a shawl (The Box Shawl?) in Folk Shawls by Cheryl Oberle. Where did you find the pattern, and how long did it take you to complete this?
The shawl is a variation of the Box Shawl -- just rectangular instead of square.
I began the shawl in April, but put it down for quite a while because of some sad events in our lives -- I was knitting the shawl as a prayerful experience, and I didn't want to knit on it when I wasn't able to bring myself to a prayerful place. I finished the shawl on August 8th or thereabouts.
As for my knowledge of William Shattner's toupee -- Please don't judge. I was young and needed the money.
