Nope, it's not sitting in anything. It's just a small glass baking dish I have - and I'm not sure if it's my boyfriends, or if I bought it, or (more likely) stole it from my parents house when I moved out. It is a GREAT size for a lot of things.
Every time I go back to my posting about Toad in the Hole I get hungry for it again. I may have to make it tonight!
