PRETTY IS AS PRETTY DOES

Two 18-year-old women were removed from a Southwest Airlines flight. They contend that they were removed from the flight because they were "too pretty".

I'm not making this up.

This is my favorite part:

"University of South Florida student Nisreen Swedberg and friend Sarah Williams said the flight crew was rude to them from the start of their flight from Tampa Bay to Los Angeles on Feb. 14, TampaBays10.com wrote.

“I think they were just discriminating against [us] because we were young decent-looking girls. I mean, nobody else on the plane looked like us except us...”

If I were the spokesperson for the airline, my entire statement would have read as follows:

Southwest Airlines does not remove ticketed passengers from flights without good reasons. While I will not go into what those reasons might be, I have seen pictures of the young women and I can state most emphatically that they were not removed from the flight because they were "too pretty".

Isn't that just the snottiest thing? Completely ridiculous. I'm offended that they got their 15 minutes of fame by being utter brats and then whining about it.

But you know what's worse? That it even made the news at all.

It's ridiculous that it made it into the news, and even more ridiculous that the "pretty" girls were even allowed to comment. Snots. Besides, they're too young to realize that those so called "older" women are often prettier than them. (and smarter too)

This is hysterical. Didn't get kicked off the plane because you were 2 rude, spoiled brats who's parents should have done a much better job raising you to function in polite society. Nope in your twisted little mind where everything in the world revolves around you you decided that you got kicked off because you were waaaayyyy to pretty. Whoever marries those two will definately not be marrying for brains.

They couldn't possibly. If that were true, they'd turn me back before I got through security.

Good looks don't get you thrown out of places. Prettiness is currency. You can bribe people with pretty in ways that you can't with money.

my guess is that they were possibly drunk and definitely obnoxious.
